New week, new recommendations. I missed this last week, sickness overcame me, but I am back for now.
I usually start with music. Game of Thrones final season premiered already (I did not see it yet anyway, so no worries, there will be no spoilers here 🙂 ), so I just have to post this:
It is a weird story between me and Game of Thrones. A bit bipolar, I might say. I truly don´t enjoy it at all, but I somehow became addicted to it and I spent countless hours of my life searching theories, re-viewing scenes and crying my eyes out. I am not even sure that I want to see how it ends, really.
Either way, the cast is simply brilliant and I have to say that through their media appearances I discovered that many of them are amazing persons also. Just some examples – Recently Emilia Clarke wrote about her true fight and Khaleesi spirit. Queen Cersei is actually dedicated to equality and refugees issues. And Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, her beautiful brother and lover (and the list can go on) did a lot of great work with UN as an ambassador and is very humble and articulate:
Moving on, street art in Utrecht, meant to connect communities:
I recently discovered a beautiful project: literary map of Barcelona, online and one can also find it in the libraries. I´ll check out some of the routes they suggest, I had no idea there were so many literature-filled corners in this city that never fails to amaze me.
I have no tattoos (yet, maybe?), but apparently embroidery tattoos are a thing now and they look quite intriguing.
That´s all for now.
Be good!
C.
